Trim video
Trim video — Save a segment using start and end times
Containers and codecs differ. An extension such as MKV/MP4 alone does not guarantee support.
- Add video and inspect file info
- Set start, end and cut method
- Check playback range and save
Usage example
- Example input
clip.mp4 · 60 s- Start (seconds)
10- End (seconds)
20- Expected result
video · ≈10 s
Examples are illustrative. Actual results depend on the source file and settings.

Fast cuts may shift to keyframes. Accurate cuts re-encode. Limit: 150 MB per file; try short videos on mobile first.

Limits and checks
- Containers and codecs differ. An extension such as MKV/MP4 alone does not guarantee support.
- DRM, encrypted, corrupt or undecodable codecs are unsupported. Inspection verifies only the beginning of a file.
- Only the first video/audio tracks are re-encoded. Subtitles, extra tracks and metadata are not preserved.
- Each file has a 3-minute processing limit. Corruption or insufficient device memory can cause failure even within size limits.
