Start working with files like this.

I process the files in my browser rather than uploading them to a server. Save the results as a new file, leaving the original as is. The example below explains how to set it up, and the resulting quality and capacity will vary depending on the file and device.

Merge PDFs/Save only the pages you need

Use it to submit multiple PDFs as one document, such as application forms and supporting materials, or to select and send only the pages you need from a long document.

  1. Open ‘Edit PDF Page’ and add your PDF file. 20 MB per file, 50 MB in total, up to 10 files/200 pages.
  2. Use the up and down buttons to reorder files. Leave the page range blank to include all pages. To include only selected pages, enter their ranges in the desired order, for example 3,1-2.
  3. After checking the file and checking the change instructions, start working, open the resulting PDF, check the number and order of pages, and save it.

example

If you place the cover page.pdf first and the supporting document.pdf second, the supporting document will follow the cover page. in proof 1,3-4If specified, only pages 1, 3, and 4 will be included.

Precautions

The size and content of the existing page is copied, but bookmarks, electronic signatures, attachments, and form actions are not maintained. Encrypted PDFs are not processed by this tool. For documents requiring electronic signature verification, check the original submission conditions first.

Extract text from images with OCR

Save Korean or English text from a photo or scanned image as TXT or JSON. This does not create a searchable PDF.

  1. Select one image. For a PDF, first export the required page using PDF to images below.
  2. Choose PaddleOCR for Korean or English and start recognition. The first run downloads the engine; follow the progress indicator.
  3. Compare the recognized text with the original, correct it and save TXT or JSON. Handwriting, small text, skewed documents and table layout may be inaccurate.

Create multiple photos into one PDF

It is suitable for combining receipts and documents taken with a mobile phone into one document. This is not a function to convert text in a document into an editable file.

  1. Open ‘Multiple images → PDF’ and add photos. Check the file number and size limits on this tool screen.
  2. Set the page order and check the paper and margin settings on the screen. Reducing shadows and tilt when taking photos can make text easier to read.
  3. Create a PDF, check all pages for text and truncated parts, then download.

example

You can organize it into a 4-page document by adding 3 receipts and 1 application form and moving the application form to the front. If your submission destination has capacity limitations, check ‘Document Submission Assistant’ or ‘Conform to PDF Submission Capacity’.

Precautions

The text in the photo remains as an image and cannot be searched or selected. If you need searchable text, use the separate ‘Searchable Scan PDF · Beta’ and check the OCR results directly.

Reduce photos to target KB or less

If your website attachment limit is 500 KB, changing the file format may not be enough. When you specify a target size, the quality of JPG and WebP is adjusted and the actual resulting size is checked.

  1. Open ‘Reduce image size’ and add a photo. The default converter is 30 MB per image, up to 20, for a total of 200 MB.
  2. Set output JPG or WebP and target KB. It first tries with the original pixel size and, if insufficient, allows direct scaling.
  3. Confirm and process change notices. Check the actual size, width and height of the result and the clarity of letters and faces.

example

goal 500If you enter , it will be set to 500 × 1024 bytes. If your submission limit is 500,000 bytes, set it a little lower, such as 480 KB. JPGs do not maintain transparent backgrounds.

Precautions

When quality control isn't enough, allowing size reduction reduces the number of pixels. If the goal is not reached, excess results are not saved. The smaller you save, the less detail there is, and making it larger again will not restore the original quality.

Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG

If you're submitting photos to sites that don't accept HEIC, or want to send them in a format that's easier to view on other devices, choose JPG. PNG·WebP are suitable for pictures that require a transparent background.

  1. Open ‘Convert Image Format’ and add HEIC/HEIF files.
  2. Select JPG as the output format and check the size and quality settings. JPG is lossy compression.
  3. After checking the change instructions, convert, check the color, direction, width and height of the result and save.

example

If you want to attach an iPhone photo to your application, convert it to JPG and use ‘Reduce image size’ if there is a separate size limit. Changing the format and meeting the target capacity are two different tasks.

Precautions

We do not guarantee that the metadata and color information of the photo will remain intact. For images with multiple frames/pages, only the first frame/page is used. The video portion of a Live Photo is not included in this photo conversion.

Reduce PDF to submitable size

First decide whether to maintain the font structure or prioritize capacity. The two compression tools have different nature of results.

  1. If you need to search/select text, try ‘PDF Structure Compression/Beta’ first. Text and images are maintained and the results are saved only when they actually become smaller.
  2. If you can submit image PDFs, select the file in ‘Suit PDF submission size’ and set the target MiB and maximum resolution.
  3. After processing, check the actual capacity and small letters and stamps on all pages. Submission conditions take precedence over capacity.

example

The target value is in MiB (1 MiB = 1,048,576 bytes). If your limit is 2,000,000 bytes, set it lower, like 1.8 MiB, and check the actual byte size of the resulting file. Already compressed PDFs may not be reduced by structural compression alone. Whether you can reach your target size will depend on the number of pages and images in your original.

Precautions

Because the capacity adjustment recreates the page as an image, the original structure, such as character search, selection, links, forms, and electronic signatures, is not maintained. Very small target volumes can make text difficult to read.

HWP·HWPX Saving Korean documents as PDF

Create image PDFs for reading and sharing documents without a Korean language program. For tasks that require character search/selection or typesetting identical to the original, check the PDF export of the Korean program first.

  1. Open ‘Convert HWP·HWPX’ and add HWP 5.x or HWPX file. Up to 10 MB and 100 pages per file.
  2. Select the output PDF and run ‘Check Document/Font’. If the original font is missing, link a local font or add TTF/OTF. If you wish to use an alternate font, you must manually select and confirm the change.
  3. Review previews of all pages, complete the verification process, and save. Compare missing letters, truncated tables, and line breaks with the original.

example

If the title font is not available on another PC, line breaks or page placement may be different. Before you just hit convert, fix any missing fonts and read through to the last page.

Precautions

PDFs are 192 dpi images and do not preserve searchable text, vectors, links, or forms. Word·DOCX·PDF input is not supported. HWP↔HWPX Even if it passes the content check, it doesn't mean it looks exactly like the original.

Crop a photo and set its output size

Use this tool to remove the surroundings from a profile photo or meet a required pixel size. The selected crop area and the dimensions of the saved image are separate settings.

  1. Open the crop and resize tool, add photos and select the file to edit. Check the limits: 30 MB per image, up to 20 files and 200 MB in total.
  2. Drag in the preview to select an area, or enter X, Y, width and height. The crop ratio sets the shape of the selection; output width and height set the number of pixels in the saved image.
  3. Check the output dimensions and preview, acknowledge the change notice and process the image. Reopen the saved file to check the crop and its actual pixel dimensions.

exampleSet only the width to 1200 px and leave height blank to preserve the selected area's aspect ratio. If you set both dimensions, check the fit mode. For documents whose important content must remain visible, check the output preview first.

PrecautionsSaving an image larger than the original does not create new detail. JPG does not preserve transparency. When processing multiple photos, switch the selected editing file and check each photo's crop area.

Save only the part of a video you need

Use this tool to keep only the scene you want to share from a longer video. Choose a cut method based on whether you need a precise starting point or a faster save without re-encoding.

  1. Open the video trimming tool, add a video and inspect its file information. The limit is 150 MB per file. On mobile devices, try a short video first.
  2. Enter start and end times in seconds. Fast cut preserves the original codec; accurate cut re-encodes the video. Leave the end time blank to process to the end of the video.
  3. Review the change notice, process the video and play the result. Check the opening and closing scenes, sound and duration before downloading.

exampleA start time of 10.5 seconds and an end time of 25.2 seconds specify a 14.7-second segment. The same times apply to all selected videos, so check each file's duration. With fast cut, keyframes may change the actual start and duration.

PrecautionsAccurate cut takes longer and may change quality and file size. Fast cut does not change quality, resolution or audio settings. Unsupported codecs and DRM-protected files cannot be processed. Keep a separate copy of the original.
