Limits and checks
- Enter XML text. Mismatched tags produce an error with location information; DTD and entity declarations are unsupported. This tool checks syntax and reformats XML. It does not validate XSD schemas or the accuracy of business data.
- Whitespace between XML text can be data. Compare values with the source after formatting. Existing text whitespace may remain even with Compact formatting selected. This tool is not intended to preserve the original file byte for byte.
